Cirque Du Soleil
Prestige Events was proud to be involved with the 1996 Annual Benefit Dinner for Providence Speech and Hearing Center featuring the infamous Canadian Circus... Cirque du Soleil. The Cirque performance was held on Saturday, February 1, 1997 in Costa Mesa, California.
Our staff planned every detail for the 2,500 person event, including the Cirque du Soleil performance as well as a Black-tie gala for 1,000 people afterwards with a Mardi Gras theme.
Prestige Events was asked to perform all of the marketing, advertising and promotion for the event. We were given the task of selling 2,500 tickets, distributing these tickets as well as ensuring that we were marketing the event to the right audience. We created a tiered ticket system and a unique distribution system for people to easily purchase their tickets. We developed phone banks and created telemarketing experts that helped sell out the Big Top!
Our staff also planned the "Party Extraordinaire" that was held immediately following the Cirque du Soleil performance in what started as an empty warehouse and was transformed into The French Quarter in New Orleans... celebrating Mardi Gras. Complete with hanging masks, balloons, fountains, Cajun Band, New Orleans street scene backdrops as well as beads and masks for all of the guests it proved to be a fun evening for all while raising over $300,000 for the children at Providence.
